Vikoma Hisprint Offshore Boom Deployment

Oceancare Ltd conducted a drill in conjunction with one of the leading bunker operators in Malta. The scenario consisted that one of the company vessels was discharging at Rinella tank cleaning facilities when there was a hose failure, which resulted in an oil spill in the Grand Harbour. Oceancare deployed MV Moor, mobilized the Vikoma hispirit boom and proceeded to the location. The boom was deployed, assisted by Oceancare’s rib.
